Graphic Designer/Illustrator

LOCATION: Baluwatar, Kathmandu 📍

Job Introduction:

We're on the on the lookout for a highly skilled Graphic Designer/Illustrator to enrich our creative team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in visual arts and has a passion for books, offering the opportunity to design distinctive graphics and illustrations that engage and inspire our community of readers.

Requirements:

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and -Figma. Mastery of graphic design tools is essential.

- Expert understanding of color theory, composition, and typography to create visually appealing designs.

- Demonstrated creativity and a strong originality in visual storytelling through graphics and illustrations.

- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to collective goals.

- Proactive in learning new skills and techniques in graphic design and illustration.

Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously with strict adherence to deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Create compelling and innovative graphic designs and illustrations that align with the Books Mandala brand and our promotional campaigns.

- Maintain a consistent and high-quality visual aesthetic across all designs, adhering to our branding guidelines.

- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and bring fresh, creative design ideas to life.

- Effectively manage and prioritize a variety of creative projects, ensuring precision and attention to detail.

- Adapt designs based on feedback and critiques to continually improve and evolve our visual outputs.

Additional Notes:

While this role focuses on graphic design and illustration, having video editing skills is preferred and will be considered a plus.

Note: Please submit an application only if you're able to work full-time (Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm) and on-site from our Office based at Baluwatar, Kathmandu
